HMA in action
I'm actually using Magic Submitter now for almost a month and I'm using Hide My Ass (HMA) VPN proxy to hide my footprints from doing my campaigns. Most of the people that start using Magic submitter will choose to use the service of HMA but there are Pros and Cons of using it.
In this article I will share to you the advantages and disadvantages of using it. Also in this post I will share to you how to troubleshoot basic MS problems that comes up when using HMA with magic submitter.
By the way in this review I am using HMA 11.52$/mo service.
How to install HMA for Magic Submitter
a. First you will need to go to their official website.
b. On the top left of their site you will have to click the PRO Vpn icon.
c. And Finally You will have to choose for the package you want to use. Choices are 1mo, 6mos and 12 mos. Hit the the buy button and fill up the necessary information for your payment.
d. After that you will be ask a registration to their site for your username and password.
e. And then after your payment you can now login to the back office and download the latest hma software version.
f. Once the software is on your computer double click it and follow the step by step installation.
g. Finally run the software and enter your username and password.
Congratulations you have successfully installed HMA. There is no need to edit any configuration from your Magic Submitter. You can now start your campaigns.
Advantages:
Speed: The speed I would say is pretty decent if you are running 1 or 2 campaigns.
Ips: I love the variations in ip (internet protocol) if you are not sure what is ip check wiki ip definition. In my campaigns I could see different ips from asia, europe and us. Definitely it will give you decent types of ips and country which is great for submitting your campaigns.
Setup: You could setup your HMA to use only the 10 nearest proxy server to your location. In my case I always encounter errors in my MS so I set it up to choose random server from anywhere in the world and it's perfectly working for me.
Disadvantages:
Speed: I definitely would not recommend HMA if you are running 10 campaigns or more. In my case I setup 10 video campaigns and I'm behind in my schedules. I setup a video campaign to run 10 days period and it took 5 days before it run because I always encounter errors in using magic submitter.
Since I have many errors running it I needed to pause the scheduler to make it sure that it would not submit using my original ip. Even at night when I needed to sleep I have to pause the scheduler to be sure that if HMA crash when I'm sleeping it will not continue to submit my campaign using my real ip address.
So if you will be using it to run 5 or more campaigns I would not highly recommend it. For below 5 campaigns and you are always on your computer this is just enough for you.
Another disadvantage of using HMA is slows down you internet connection. If you have only one computer like me which using my pc for creating content and setting up campaign definitely it will slow down your productivity. The reason behind it is once you start HMA program all of your internet connectivity will be using the Hide my ass service.
What I do when I need to do something online is I will pause scheduler which makes my campaign behind my schedules (I have 10 campaigns running on my MS).
How to solve HMA errors on magic submmiter?
WARNING: SCHEDULER PAUSED AS DEATHBYCAPTHA UNAVAILABLE
This is the most common error I get from using HMA and this the only problem you are going to solve. When you know how to fix this you can use HMA with MS easily.
To fix it follow my step by step procedure below:
1. Go to your task bar and right click hma and then choose change ip address (see the image below). Wait till it finished changing ip.
2. Click the exit button of your Magic Submitter. (see the image below)

3. Run Magic Submitter again. This time it will now run and submit your campaigns.
4. If still you are getting the same error, repeat the process from 1-3
My Verdict:
HMA is good if you are running 5 campaigns and below with great variations of ip's, and if you are not using your computer for other online activity. So if this is what you need for now visit their website now.
